Dorset Supreme Champion
Mulliners Gun Room Manager Ian Mulliner wins the 2010 Dorset Supreme County Championships. The Champioship was held over 12 rounds which included all the Dorset County Championships and County Team selection shoots taking in such disciplines as Oylmpic Skeet, English Skeet, Olympic Trap, Double Trap, Universal Trench, Automatic Ball Trap, Down the Line, Single Barrel, FITASC and English Sporting, Sportrap and All Round.
Second Dorset title for King
Richard King won the Dorset English Skeet Championships at the weekend with a score of 97/100 in some very windy conditions. The runner up spot was taken by Gun Room Manager an Mulliner on 92/100 with Eric Nix taken third and Top Vet on 90/100.
Renolds takes FITASC Dorset Title
Martin Reynolds won the Dorset FITASC County Title over the weekend with a score of 83/100. Martin started on the tough ponds layout followed by an equally tough three trees to come in at the half way mark with a low 34/50, but Martin pulled out all the stops on the two Brick tower layouts with a 23 and the only 25 Straight of the day on his last layout to take the title by two clear targets over Herbert Smith.
Dorset All Round to King
Dorsets All Round county championships was always going to be a battle for second place as the current National All Round Champion is Dorsets own Richard King and with a score of 91/100 took the high gun and another county title leaving Colin Pennington, Ian Mulliner and Rob Burleigh to battle it out for the runner up spot. Colins 86/100 proved good enough to beat Ian's 85/100 with Rob managing a shooting a very consistent 82/100.
Dorset Supreme County Championship Draws 'em in
The 2010 Dorset CPSA Supreme County Championships is drawing in record numbers to the Dorset County Championships, with shooters keen to prove that they too can shoot anothers discipline. In most cases the transition from Sporting to Trap or Trap to Sporting has proved harder than expected, but with English Skeet, FITASC Sporting, Sportrap, ABT and Double Trap still to come, it could still be anyones title.
England Skeet team for King
Richard King finished the 400 target English Skeet England Team selection with a score of 393/400 which was enough to put in in 3rd place overall and give him another England cap, we all wish him and the England team the best of luck at the forth coming Home International.
Burleigh Wins Dorset Sporting
Rob Burleigh won the Dorset County Sporting Championship held at Southern Counties shooting ground over the weekend. Rob's score of 83/100 was the first score to be posted so topped the leader board whilst most entrants were turning up and signing on, with a glance at the board many expected to top Rob's score, but the targets proved challenging to most and simply frustrating to others and not a single shooter could top Rob's score although Colin Pennington came close with an 82/100 and Paul Thomas with an 81/100. Well shot Rob.

English Open for King
Dorsets Richard King won the 2010 English Open All Round at the weekend with of score of 97/100 using his Blaser F3 Professional and Hull cartridges. Richard now looks toward the major Sporting and Skeet Championships to try and add to his tally of National titles. All at Mulliners wish him the best of luck.
Supreme County Championships
After the fourth of the twelve round Dorset CPSA Supreme County Championships the Mulliner brothers top the leader board. With a win in UT, 6th in Olympic Skeet, 2nd in Olympic Trap and 3rd in DTL Ian Mulliner is running in 1st place against Rob Mulliners Win in OT, 6th in UT & 8th in OSK. But in close contention are Dean Webber, Eric Nix and Anthony Read followed by Mark Cassel the 2009 Dorset English Skeet and English Sporting Champion notching up valuable points in the trap disiplines.

Donaldson Wins Dorset DTL
Darrin Donaldson won the 2010 Dorset DTL County Championships at the weekend to add to his current South West Championship title. Darrin used his trusty 32" Krieghoff K80 and Mulliners custom load Pro Trap cartridges, all at Mulliners wish Darrin the best of luck at the coming weekends England DTL Team selection shoot.
100 Straight & County Title
Andy Pearce wins the 2010 Somerset County Skeet Championships with the only 100 straight of the event. For the event Andy was using his Mulliner set up Krieghoff K80 and Mulliners new Pro Skeet custom loaded cartridge. Well done Andy.

Mulliner brothers top leader board
After three of the twelve rounds of the Dorset Supreme Championship, the Mulliner brothers Ian and Robert take the early lead. But as DTL is the next round all could be turned on its head, as there are at least ten Dorset shooters who could claim a win and the all important ten points towards the Supreme Championship points tally.
Dorset Olympic Trap Championships
Over the weekend, Southern Counties hosted the Olympic Trap County Championships, the second of the Six Dorset Trap titles up for grabs in 2010 and yet again another record entry for the Dorset County Championships. Reigning OT Champion Dean Webber found himself defending his title against not just one, but two Mulliners as Ian joined his younger brother Rob in the chase for Supreme County Championship points and a place in the Dorset OT Team.
Competition was close with only a couple of targets seperating the top four at the half way stage, but it was former Dorset OT champion Rob Mulliner who kept his cool to pull three targets clear of brother Ian who was followed home by Dean and Dorsets top all round Veteran shot Eric Nix. The ever improving Tony Read battling it out for fifth place with a trigger rusty Glyn Stimpson back after the winter layoff and Mark Cassel, Dorsets Reigning Sporting and Skeet champion, holding up the honours for the Sporting shooters.
The Fourth Dorset County Championship is DTL on 25th April, where the Supreme title championship contenders will have to take on Dorsets No1 and current South West DTL Champion, Darrin Donaldson.
Mulliner Guns appointed as Blaser service centre
Mulliner Guns are now factory certified to carry out all service, repair and update work to Blaser shotguns and rifles. The new in house service includes general service work such as firing pin replacement, ejector timing, trigger pull weight adjustments and fitting of service update parts such as trigger groups, hammers and inertia blocks. Kings perfect 100
The Blaser F3 armed Richard King shot the only 100 straight at last weekends National Clay Shooting Centres annual English Skeet County Championship event. The event attracted almost 100 dedicated skeet shooters but none could manage to match Richards perfect 100. All at Mulliner Guns wish Richard all the best for the coming season.
Dorset CPSA UT Championships
The 2010 Dorset Supreme County Championships kicked off at the weekend with the Universal Trap County Championships.
Early morning leader was reigning 2009 UT champion Dean Webber, who posted a credible 22/25 with local game rearer Rob Burleigh and Gun Room Manager Ian Mulliner in hot pursuit, but it did not prove to be Webbers day when an uncharacteristic loss of form on his third layout handed the leader board over to Burleigh and Mulliner with eventual winner Ian Mulliner claiming the title by a three target margin.
All now look forward to the second round of the Dorset Supreme County Championships when on the 21st March the challenge of Olympic Skeet awaits.

Dorset Supreme Champion
The Dorset CPSA has just launched a new championship to find the Dorset Supreme Champion. The Dorset Supreme Championships takes in all 12 CPSA disciplines run at Dorset County level with points being awarded at each down to 9th Place, with an individuals 10 best scores counting towards the overall points table.
The eventual winner will be awarded a perpetual trophy, the title of Supreme Champion for 2010 along with a cash prize. All at Mulliners would like to wish all Dorset shooters the best of luck with this challenge.

Dorsets Martin Reynolds took the long journey to Australia earlier this month to take part in the World FITASC Sporting championships and Won another Team Gold to go with his European Championship Gold Won in France earlier this year.
R93 Illumination Control Bolt assy
New from Blaser and just in at Mulliners is the latest R93 Bolt Housing which incorporates an Illumination Control (IC) for opperating the illuminated ret on your Zeiss scope (with built in IC) at the same time as arming the rifle. When rifle is disarmed the ret automatically turns off.

New Hidefspexs Variable tint Lens
Hidefspexs have just realised a new Variable tint (reactolight) lens for the Panther and Puma series of shooting eye ware. The lens is for use in sunny conditions when cloud comes in and out of play during a layout or Stand, when time does not permit you to change lenses. Tint ranges from 8% to 25%, limited number in stock and on a first come first serve basis.
Donaldson Perfect 300
Dorsets Darrin Donaldson won the South West Intercounties DTL Championship with a perfect 100/300 using his 32" Krieghoff K80 Supertrap. Darrin is now well on his way to a place in the England Team selection and all at Mulliner's wish him the best of luck in his quest for that England Team Place in 2010.
Another Silver for King
Richard King won another Silver in English Skeet when he took the runner up spot at last weekends British Open Skeet Championships. After shooting 125 targets straight, Richard had to shoot off for the title against Skeet Veteran Johnny Walker on the infamous stand four with doubles in both combinations and it was one missed low tagret that cost Richard the Gold. Congratulations must go to Johnny who has to be the UK's foremost and comitted skeet shooter showing the young guys how it should be done, well shot Johnny.
NEW K80 Sporting stocks now available
Mulliners has just taken delivery of the first batch of Krieghoff K80's fitted with the NEW sporting stock and forearm. The NEW sporting stock has a higher combe height than the standard sporter to better suit the increasing number of K80 sporting and fitasc shots who prefer a higher sight picture. New guns available from stock in both 30" and 32" form.

King Takes Silver at World Skeet Championships
Richard King shot a perfect 200 straight at the World Skeet championships last week, which put him into a shoot off with seasoned Skeet shot David Beardsmore, who pipped Richard by one target to tale the Gold. All at Mulliners wish Richard the best of luck for next weeks British Open Skeet Championships at the National Clay Shooting Centre.
Third County Title for Webber
Dorsets Dean Webber won his Third County title of 2009 with victory at last weekends Olympic Trap Dorset County Championships, Dean out classed all the other Dorset shooters on his way to the win. The battle for second place was between Keith Forward and Ian Mulliner ending in a draw and a lot of talk on the shared car journey home to Wimborne, on what went wrong and how to fix it for next time, so here's to next time!
Double Trap for Wilson
During the Dorset County Championships for Double Trap held at Southern Counties at the weekend, Peter Wilson demonstrated why he is Dorsets top DT shooter and one of Britains top hopes for medal victory at the London Olympics. He not only won the event outright, but beat second place man and 2008 DT County Champion Rob Burleigh by a massive margin of 23 Targets, with a Score of 134/150.
Extended Hours of Business for Mulliners Gun Room
Mulliners Gun Room has extended its hours of business to view stock and also Demo any specific gun configeration. The new hours include Mondays and Saturday Afternoons, with Friday afternoons being reserved exclusively for trials and demos, with Wednesdays and Sundays available by prior appointment.

Cassel wins two County Championships
Blaser F3 armed Mark Cassel claimed both the English Sporting and English Skeet Dorset County Championship titles over the weekend at Southern Counties. The weather was not Skeet friendly, but Mark having shot 2 x 24/25 on the first set of two rounds took the option of shooting the English Sporting in the break whilst waiting for his second set of 50 targets, which resulted in a 25 straight and a very well shot 23, in very windy conditions. After shooting the Skeet for the win, he was informed that his English Sporting score had not been improved on by any other Dorset shooter, giving him both county titles. Well done Mark.
European Fitasc Gold for Reynolds
One of Dorsets leading sporting and FITASC shot's Martyn Reynolds, claimed a Gold Medal at the European FITASC championships in France over the weekend as part of the three man veterians GB Team. We are Mulliners are pleased for Martyn who only took delivery of his gun from Mulliners gun room only a few weeks prior to the event.
2nd Dorset Championship Win or Webber
Over the weekend Dean Webber out classed all the Dorset UT Trap shooters to claim his second County Championship title in 2009 to go with the succes of winning the Single Barrel title back in May. Dean is looking forward to shooting this weekends County Championships for Sporting and Skeet. We at Mulliners wish him the best of luck in attempting to claim his third title of the year.
World Skeet Team place for King
Dorset's Top Sporting shot and Blaser F3 Pro armed Richard King has Qualified to represent England in the five man World Skeet Team Championships to be held at Doveridge on the second weekend of August. All at Mulliners wish him and the rest of the England Team the best of luck at the World Championships.

Dorset DTL County Championships
The Bank Holiday weekend saw the second of the Dorset County Trap Champioshps with both DTL and Single Barrel being held at the Southern Counties shooting ground. The event was well attended with a total of nine squads including shooters from Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset and Devon all taking part in the 100 target competition. Eventual winner was Gun Room Manager Ian Mulliner with a score of 294/300 using his Krieghoff K80 with his friend and rival sporting shooter Keith Forward, taking the runner up spot with 288/300.
The 100 target Single Barrel Championship was run at the same event and allround shot Dean Webber won the Dorset Title with a score of 94/100, with Ian Mulliner having to settle for the runner up spot.
King tops the first England Skeet Selection
Blaser F3 armed Richard King claimed joint High Gun at the first of the England Skeet Team selection shoots with a score of 198/200 after dropping a single target on each day of the two day event. All at Mulliners wish him the best of luck for the second selection shoot at Doveridge.

Richard King won the Dorset All Round Championships at the weekend using his Blaser F3 Pro Sporter. All wish him good luck at the British and English Open All Round championships to be staged at Southern Counties Shooting Ground over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

The weekend sore the first of the 2009 Dorset County Championships with Automatic Ball Trap being held at Southern Counties Shooting Ground and Mulliners gun room manager Ian Mulliner took the title with a score of 88 using a Krieghoff K80 Supertrap.
